Al Rayyan TV (قناة الريان / Alrayyan TV), officially known as Al Rayyan Satellite Channel (قناة
الريان الفضائية), is a Qatari satellite television network that broadcasts
a wide range of family-oriented entertainment and cultural programs in
Arabic.
Its schedule features talk shows, documentaries, magazine-style features, heritage and lifestyle programmes, as well as locally produced dramas, serials, and occasional movies.
The channel aims to promote Qatari culture, values, and national identity through creative and informative content that appeals to all age groups.
It was launched in 2011 by Al-Rayyan Media and Marketing Company, a state-owned media organisation headquartered in Doha, Qatar.
