Overview
Sharjah Sports (قناة الشارقة الرياضية) is a dedicated sports television network operated by the Sharjah Broadcasting
Authority (SBA), the official government media organization of the Emirate
of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. It operates two television channels,
Sharjah Sports and Sharjah Sports 2.
Theese channels provide coverage of local and regional sporting events,
including football, cycling, and other competitions, alongside sports news,
discussion programmes, and feature content aimed at sports fans across
the UAE.
Sharjah Sports also highlights community-level athletics and club activities, offering interviews and expert commentary that extend beyond live match broadcasts.
As part of SBA’s broader television network, the channel complements cultural and general programming by focusing specifically on sports and athletic achievement.
