TV Channel Overview
Al Araby TV (Al Araby Television / التلفزيون العربي) is an Arabic-language news and current affairs channel based in Lusail,
Qatar. Operated by Fadaat Media, it serves audiences across the Arab world
and follows regional and international developments with particular attention
to issues affecting Arab societies.
News bulletins and special coverage form the core of the schedule, supported by interviews, discussion programs, analysis, and documentaries. The channel examines politics, regional affairs, economics, social issues, and other public-interest topics, while its reporting network contributes coverage from several Arab and international capitals. This structure allows daily news reporting to be combined with longer-form programs that explore the background and context of current events.
The channel was launched in London in 2015. In 2022, Al Araby moved its headquarters and broadcasting operations to new studios in Lusail, Qatar. The relocation marked a new stage in the channel’s development and placed its main production base closer to the region that forms the central focus of much of its coverage.
