Panama’s television landscape is centered largely on Panama City, where the broadcasters represented here include public and commercial services with different programming priorities. SERTV provides public-service television with news, public affairs, education, culture, sports, and entertainment. Telemetro and TVN offer broad general-interest schedules, RPC TV places particular emphasis on sports, and Nex combines news, current affairs, sports, and other informational subjects. Spanish is the common language across the listings.
Squid TV’s editorial profiles place these broadcasters in context by identifying their base, geographic coverage, programming focus, and institutional background. Comparing those characteristics offers a way to understand how Panama’s television media cover national affairs, public information, culture, education, sports, entertainment, and everyday interests. The concentration of major broadcasters in the capital is an important part of that picture, while regional services add further perspective on television beyond Panama City.
